The theme of my first serious compilation of original music was"Bad Dreams and Fantasies", a collection of whimsical fancies. These were songs that I had been playing for years, before they were finally recorded in 1978. A four track reel-to-reel recorder, microphones hanging from the ceiling, and makeshift soundproofing by hanging sleeping bags on the walls, inspired the name "Crude Studios", a name that followed my future recording ventures.
